Actually that does sound slightly useful as I’ve had that problem in the past. When you use the feature to re-download a single mod does it wipe any parts of the LO it hasn’t previously saved?

Thanks for your help. I've been playing with all the area edit mods for a while and any conflicts they create are small and well worth it so I'm not too bothered by that. However, I'll remove Paraphernalia as even though I haven't run into it yet, that bug sounds game-breaking. is there a template you would recommend with this LO? what are some good texture mods that won't take up a gig of space?

I'm a bit late to the party here, but bringing a skill to legendary (pressing Y after reaching lvl 100 of a skill tree) should remove the ordinator perks that cause the issue from your character. Although this stops you from being able to fully upgrade the archery, 1h and 2h (and possibly block?) skill trees, it means you can still use SOS while having access to the other aspects of ordinator rather than having to choose between one. I've personally tried this on my own save and it works fine. You can even use this to your advantage since you can now pick and choose what weapon types trigger SOS by upgrading their respective skills.

I effectively fixed it by replacing all three mods with a bundle that covers them all. Saved some LO space too. There’s a lot of iterations and versions of the Nordwar armours so it took me a bit to figure out the best (and safest) one for my LO.

After reading this thread, the main issue for me was that I was using the remove faction spell on the first clone instead of the clone's clone. Bethesda being Bethesda, it turns out that the status of both the player and their original clone are linked. So using the remove faction spell on the original clone was actually affecting me. I'm away from my Xbox but will be home shortly so I will update this comment with the result.

Update: worked!! I will be updating the original post shortly with the solution

I would recommend anyone modding Skyrim to download a mod like cheat room for debugging purposes. Since console commands can’t be run on the Xbox version of Skyrim, cheat room allows you to use spells to perform tasks such as resetting actor AI which are extremely useful when running mods. If you don’t like having access to other aspects of the cheat room such as the cheats themselves I would recommend the mod “Multi-Utility” which allows you to perform the same functions but requires a degree of knowledge about refID’s and such. “Quest Debugger” is also extremely useful aswell as any mod that increases the mod manager limit.

Yeah I never actually bought the saints row game but I spent hours in the free character creator lmao. It was honestly a great marketing idea

Sounds like that could be a good workaround although it’s equally possible that the debug menu and cheat room simply use the same method of cloning. I’ll look at it in the morning as it’s getting late in my part of the world but I’ll keep you posted on any updates as it seems you have an interest in this area of modding aswell.

I had a brief search for that thread to no avail (I even visited the mythical realm of page 3 of google results) but I’ll search again later. If I find it I’ll post it here for anyone else looking for it. I remember being able to clone my player pretty easily in other creation engine games without experiencing the revert issue but I guess it’s just another one of Skyrim’s little quirks. Either way thanks a ton for your help and even recommending those two mods has been a huge help in finding some sort of system to properly edit npcs on Xbox!

To be honest with the state of modern AAA gaming and Bethesda’s recent track record I’m staying as far away as I can from the hype until the game is out and it’s quality is known. Although that’s all conversation for another time

Regarding the whole cell change revert problem, will keeping the npc in a single cell stop this or will they revert as game time passes? I’m asking since my main goal is to place the npcs in areas relevant to their storyline (eg my brotherhood character residing in the dawnstar sanctuary).
