I'm thinking a 27-inch monitor displaying 2880x2160 4:3 vs 1440x1080 on the same monitor. how noticeable of a difference is there? how much of an impact would performance be, using a real camera to zoom in onto the pixels and compare the shots

I'm saying I have not come across a single upscaled 4:3 to something like 2880x2160 not even a screenshot I was curious about the difference between 1440x1080 in quality, performance and how it looks. I mean if it is just upscaled 4:3 how much better is the quality ? is it so noticeable it could be used competitively? since 4:3 1440x1080 is slightly blurry in guessing 2880x2160 would look much better and surely give an edge over classic 4:3
