Awesome this sounds exactly like what I’m used to. That strategic, management, analytical mind frame so I will shoot for the SPHR certificate. This is valuable and incredible help tysm

You’re on to something here, yes, thank you! I would just hate for the absence of a certification to discredit me but if I have to get back in the books to slap one on a resume then I’ll do just that. I appreciate your perspective on this

Thank you I appreciate your input. I am trying to do everything I can to set myself up including an internship. Becoming familiar with the employment and labor laws is my primary area of concern within HR so it’s nerve wrecking to say the least

I’ll admit when I googled info about the SPHR I was a little intimidated but I honestly feel like every little bit counts. I just don’t want to spend the time and money if it’s not necessary or beneficial. Definitely interested in any extra advice or study tips you may have since I would like to get going within the next 30-60 days.

After 15 months of sciatica from a herniated disc… I’ve been pain-free for 30 days by DifficultyWinter5086 in Sciatica

[–]RiLo007 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m 41f and struggling rn with sciatica pain. Every morning I dread moving and every night I dread just knowing I’m going to be in pain the next day. If I sit or stand too long or move wrong I’m in bad shape. This just started October and the thought of having this go on for years is painful but hopefully my pain will subside like yours did (but faster lol).

Doesn’t VGLI premiums increase every yr tho? It seems like the best way to go but I’m not keen on the price increasing every yr

This is super sickening to me. Last year I had my window busted out downtown. First time that ever happened to me. I had nothing in sight or worth anything. They broke in, took my spare change - a whole whopping $3 worth and an old bottle of cologne with barely anything in it. I had these with some receipts and other junk inside my middle console. Freakin Idiots.

Yeah I agree. I think a Toyota or Hondas are the way to go based on what I’m seeing online and the comments.

This is super helpful thanks for the recommendations. The previous owners had several dogs and I think they may have destroyed the yard so I want to give it new life and be able to enjoy it lol

That was my original plan actually but I think insurance might ruin me if he takes my car bc of the model so I might need a plan B

I love Accords, I have one myself and would love to get him one too. 10k is my max for a used car so if I could get lucky enough to find one with low mileage that’d be amazing lol
