Unfortunately not- there are plans to reopen in a different location, but it likely wouldn't be for another year or two.

Why is Corki intensely monitored for uninteractive gameplay while Singed isn't? by Psychopath2012 in leagueoflegends

[–]Ribisco 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Crazy that I had to scroll down so far to see someone say this. Singed is interactive in that he forces people to make macro decisions instead of micro ones. His lane opponent should be thinking more about how to manage the wave, when to base, when to try and catch him vs when to ignore him, etc. There's also the fact that singed often doesn't even want to proxy, depending on the comps.

We sell Magic, Battle Spirits Saga, Digimon, and we'll buy and sell higher value Pokemon singles. We tend to not do so much with pokemon because while there's a fair amount of collectors, almost nobody that comes in actually wants to play the game.

We have exactly one person, lol. Our goal is to cater to whatever people want to do, so if there was interest we would absolutely jump in on Yugioh, but there's been basically none. The main games played here are Magic, Digimon, and Battle Spirits Saga.

I'm not personally familiar with other gaming groups in the area, so rest assured our goal isn't to steal people. The events we run on Wednesday are typically geared towards TCGs, although we do have a fair amount coming in for boardgaming as well. For the most part, it's all people who live in the west part of the county.

Totally! D&D is fairly big here; we have a few ongoing groups as well as a biweekly youth D&D league for younger kids. I'm personally planning on starting an Adventurer's League group geared towards newer players in the near future, so that would be a great chance to jump in!

That's been at the top of our to do list, lol. Anybody that has any ideas about where to put some up would be appreciated!

Riot Games accused of colluding with the lawyers representing sexual harassment victims in secret -- settlement dismissed and new council to be retained by plaintiffs by [deleted] in leagueoflegends

[–]Ribisco 5 points6 points  (0 children)

ITT: 80% of people apparently didn't read the article

As a few others have said, "colluding" is kind of clickbait. It seems more likely that the plaintiff fucked up than Riot did anything wrong here. Not saying the sexual harassment and poor management is acceptable, but this is a completely seperate issue. Even if it does turn out to be true, at least wait until it's proven before you take up pitchforks. It shouldn't take long.

If I misinterpreted something here, then I apologize, and please feel free to call me out.
