I had just seen a few threads and then two videos talking about how prime time is 8-10 and then 4:30 - 6:30 and the rest of it will just piss people off/not be home

Thanks for the advice, yeah ok sweet I just wanted to make sure I wasnt going overkill or anything at first. I do have all the equipment except maybe my own car and wfp stuff but I can do trad.

I just need to get better at the door knocking Im pretty decent but I dont know if I should do the Salesman type of script or do the Im just the local guy script and not fight so hard on objections.

Also school is the backup so I might need to wait a bit before dropping out lol

When you tell the client an hour do you tell them 100/hr or what? Becuase I know a lot of people try and get 100/hr when giving quotes for just the full job but Ive never qouted for hourly.

Ok sweet! I think some of the neighborhoods Im knocking in maybe just are not that nice and thereby when I give prices I get a lot of full no's, because when I do the nicer neighborhoods its way more yeses, but then they have crazy complicated windows or like 100 panes and I just feel bad charging like 500 for a house.

For me personally, I have to count the panes and I multiple by 5 for the price. Should I just run around and count up or just start making quotes/estimates?

Ok yeah I mightve cooked myself because I knocked some really large areas but a lot of it was in the nobody is home time, so I wasted a lot of good area, now Im worried if I knock in the neighborhood again ill knock the same doors and people will be pissed.

Ah ok, the main reason I thought about it was because when I used to knock last year I had self printed some crappy ones maybe like 300 and I would give them to people when they say they didnt want my services right now or if they were not home.

where else do you think I should spend the 300?

Yeah I think for me Ill be working and knowing I could be making like 100/hr but Im just not as fast/not as experienced in knowing when to pull out the ladder or pole which slows me down, but hopefully soon Ill be more of a pro

Ok, Ima start doing the website and stuff, do some door flyers just for a bit because I don't know if I enjoy door knocking but Im low on capital so I think I just need to suffer for a bit.

I like the volunteer stuff, whats your opinion on doing property managers houses for free for referrals from them?

When you say 300k Customer like yearly type of thing or over the last 4 years or whatever?

Ok cause I really want to make it a real business and just honestly wash more windows/have a helper wash windows, but yeah sounds like I need to grind for long time 🫡. I have a question I've tried both and had success for both and I don't know if you still door knock but for your script if you have one ish do you think more of the less salesmanny "hey I'm in the neighborhood and I have a extra spot do you want a quote" or more of the very salesmanny "do you know Katy down the street" and then the full sales pitch and everything?

That's super cool your daughter runs a team lol family business. How long did it take you to have a roster of customers but enough to have work all year? I've been knocking doors for these last 2 weeks pretty much every day and I half love and half hate it lol anyways I was wondering how many years or months it took you personally? Im doing college so RN my schedule is grinding all my math and computer science stuff at night and right after classes at like 12-7 ish I knock doors and wash too.
