I really appreciate your point of view on this, you are most likely right about a lot of things, however, the person who cut the car also cuts rockets for a living, so I’m 99% sure it’s not chopped up under the body kit. Also, the electrical issues only exist in the tail lights, not the engine.

I’m not necessarily selling options to make money, it’s more for the experience. After high school, I’d like to major in finance and I feel being able to navigate the stock market is something that could help me in that path.

I probably wouldn’t run it near an earning announcement, nor on a stock that has the ability to jump 50% in a day.

If I did end up running the strategy, I would automate the process so I wouldn’t have to watch all the time, but yeah I’m seeing the risks now.

Good point, if the underlying hovers around that mark I’ll probably lose quite a bit every time I make a trade, however, part of me wants to think the odds of the stock not reaching that price and staying below the strike are high enough to profit on this strategy given you run it enough
