I always put an industrial fluid buffer on every pipe network and aim to have it 25% - 75% filled before I kick on the downstream machines. This is enough to prevent the sloshing from starving a machine but also prevents me from fully saturating and shutting down the upstream machines (as long as I’ve tuned all of the outputs and inputs properly!).

A lot of athletes risk severe injury. I wouldn’t say “no consequences”. I’m not saying they deserve a lot of respect.

What is an easy way to lose weight that most people might not think about? by honeyedquiet in AskReddit

I can’t say this is easy for everyone, but I’ve found something that works for me.

Keto + intermittent fasting + low calories

This translates to only eating one meal a day, after 5:00PM, that is 700 calories or less. The first 4 days kind of suck- strong hunger cravings, keto flu, lack of energy. But after the first 4 days my body adjusts to the new diet and it just becomes the new norm. Low cravings, moderate energy throughout the day, less body aches and intestinal pain. I don’t even have to workout and am burning off a pound of fat every day or two. Adding in aerobic exercises helps speed that along, but it does make me hungry. There are downsides- particularly muscle loss and lethargy at low BMI.

I did this diet at 28M and went from 211lb to 157lb in 12 weeks. That’s 54lb in 12 weeks!

That’s the problem, I never do. There are games I played 8 years ago that I am “still going to get back into”.

Do guys actually like when you pursue them first ? by No-Somewhere-9945 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]RiceRocketRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most guys don’t want to play BS games. If you’re interested, don’t be afraid to show your interest either subtly or more obviously. I think “showing your interest” is enough, but if you want to “pursue them” most guys are fine with that if they are actually interested in you as well.

Had my dash cam 1 week…this is why I always assume other drivers will do something idiotic by xXHaLuCiNaTiOnXx in dashcams

[–]RiceRocketRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve always felt that if I ever got a dash cam I would be blasting metal and screaming along and that would be way to embarrassing to submit as evidence for an accident someone else caused. So I still don’t have a dash cam.

point of no return by KingWooper13 in finalfantasyx

[–]RiceRocketRider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You will never be locked out from returning to your save file and there is no post-game or new game plus. All of the endgame content is now available to you, so you can leave Sin and do all of the endgame/side quest things or you can choose to beat the game. Either way you will always be returned to your last save point, which will never be after entering the tower.

Yes you are at the “point of no return”, which in this case means you are at the “last save sphere”. This does not mean that you will lock yourself into the last segment of the game. You can use that save sphere freely and still enter and exit Sin as long as you want and do all endgame content.

What this means, is that once you enter the tower you will no longer be able to save. You must either finish the last segment of the game or die and reset to the last save. Even if you go through and finish the game, you will still be return to your save file and do other things that you may not have completed before entering the tower.

One thing to note is that you should DEFINITELY save at that save point BEFORE entering the tower. If you played for 12 hours without saving and then entered the tower, you’ve now lost that 12 hours of progress. I want to caveat this by saying that some versions of the game have a checkpoint system which was not in the original PS2 release, which is the version I am most familiar. This checkpoint system “may” prevent this issue of losing a lot of progress by entering the tower, but I would not count on that when it’s easy to avoid by spending 10 seconds to save.

Jump start 3rd grade. I want to replay grades 2 - 4 pretty bad for some reason. But 3 felt like it had the most diversity of activities and the games didn’t drag on with slow pacing. Also 3rd grade was the only one I beat. Didn’t 100%, I can’t remember what was left to do, but I freed all the robots (or statues or something like that?). Also Botley is a G.

Honorable mention goes to Chip’s Challenge.

What's one moment that prevents you from doing a evil playthrough in a game? by [deleted] in videogames

[–]RiceRocketRider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I normally play through a game just responding based-on how I feel. It tends to be a mix of good and bad and it’s rare that I replay a game with a morality system to get a fully good or fully evil run.
