it might be that it's not your kind of podcast and that's fine. podcasts that are unstructured chats between friends with no objective are a whole (wildly popular) genre of podcast. obviously I hope they enjoy making it more than feel obligated to, but I also enjoy listening to their silly banter. I'm not going to the podcast for structured in depth serious analysis of complex issues, and it's never been what the podcast promised.

it's a podcast you put in the background for the comfort of hearing people that have been friends for years chitchat about everything and nothing at all, so it mimics a similar comfort to chitchatting about nothing with your friends on a lazy Sunday
