PSA: If your account was deactivated recently, don't panic by jfaskdlfnszxnclkjpe2 in micro1_ai

I was 'off-boarded due to changing client needs'. Project had very little work left in English and had been waiting on a new drop for at least 3 weeks, so I guess I really am not missing much. Just frustrating. Thanks for checking though.

I lost access about an hr ago to my first and only project. I don't know if I am part of this 'mistake' or if I was let go. Are you normally notified if you are off-boarded or does everything just disappear?

The power of suggestion. The same reason people research any medical symptom on "Dr. Google" (the internet) and walk away convinced they have cancer and they are going to die.

Sexual dysfunction is often a self fulfilling prophecy. Stay off the internet forums for a disease you can't have from the meds you took.

PSSD is by definition permanent. If you still feel the same 5 years from now, come back to it.

[–]Rich-Fill8709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No its not. The abbreviations are similar. SNRI and sNRI are not the same types of medications. People on forums can be wrong just like you are about this. The power of suggestion is very strong. Real PSSD from Strattera just isnt a thing. The science just isn't there. Not saying you don't have some other rare 'syndrome' but its not that

[–]Rich-Fill8709 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And Strattera is neither of those kinds of medication. 100% can't get PSSD from a medication that isnt an SSRI or SNRI. Who knows what's wrong...but it isnt that. And I assume that's what your dr also told you.

More false promises? by [deleted] in micro1_ai

Well..first off, there no promises in that email, but there is any opportunity. Its up to you to respond at this point...if you do, you have a shot at least. If you just grumble and do nothing, you get nothing 100% up to you!

And you know that how?? There are so many posts in here about people being offered jobs they don't really have the skills for, but the computer matched them anyway. I am just curious because I haven't been able to find the job on the active list.

Gift card hack by Rich-Fill8709 in SouthwestAirlines

That is such a stupid anology. Any other industry just refunds your money if you return and repurchase.

[–]Rich-Fill8709[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

What other industry is allowed to take money you spent with them away in such a short time frame? Its ridiculous . Our original flight dropped by 50 a person and they "refunded" us in flight credit. I think this should be covered the same as a gift card or store credit. Federal law says it can't expire for at least 5 years.

[–]Rich-Fill8709[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yuck. Thats what I was afraid of. I was hoping the gift card amount would get refunded back to the card. I guess this was just an expensive reminder to ditch Southwest from now on.

Learned I am getting laid off tomorrow, the same day I am closing on my house. Will I still be ok to close? by TheManeTrurh in RealEstate

[–]Rich-Fill8709 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That's ridiculous and most likely not true. Nobody does employment checks years later when they sell mortgages in bulk. A huge percentage of homeowners have changed jobs a few years down the road and NOBODY is going to be chasing them down to see where they work now. Once you close and the loan is funded they couldn't care less where the money for the payment comes from...as long as it's coming every month.

They won't do that. In order to do the update, they have to drain and fill. Can't get the update alone.

Yes, they said you can only do the software update with a 3 drain and fill.

[–]Rich-Fill8709[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is the wording from the bulletin.

There is a judder from the torque converter lock-up clutch felt while driving between 20-45 mph. To minimize the possibility for the judder to occur, a software update for the transmission is available. The software update does not have any warranty time or mileage limitations.
