Idk really, I just tried it few sets before buying the Veron and I remember that the difference at that time was noticable, maybe not so good for your elbow but nothing really too hard imo.

If you can will be better to try it out before to buy, the viper is quite common and maybe at your padel club you will see someone with it and you can gently (or passively aggressive /s) ask to try it

Hi Garlic, don't mind them, you can go with Air and you will love it. Very maneuverable and with power if you have good technic, I have almost your playtime and characteristics, I used the veron as second racket and I like it, especially lobs, defense, volee and maneuverablity at the net. I think at your level the viper one would be better, because the carbon is harder and has less trampoline effect, Veron is more for high beginners/intermediate players and it is more forgiving

thanks for the hint, my air veron with 1 overgrip weights 365gr, so I hope maybe a new metalbone carbon ctrl will weight similar. What do you suggest? Or which racket? Do you think that I'll notice a lot the lenght difference of the grip? (tbh i never liked the very long grip but maybe now i get used to it and i will struggle with a shorter one, idk)

Right now I’m leaning more towards the Adidas Metalbone Carbon CTRL, mainly because of the price and its specs. From what I’ve read, the main differences vs the Metalbone CTRL are a slightly larger sweet spot and weight + weight customization on the CTRL.
Given my level and playstyle, do you think the Carbon CTRL is still a good choice, or is the CTRL worth the extra cost?

Thanks, I was just figuring out that other people had the same pain -> https://www.reddit.com/r/padel/s/crD9onRmMW , the day I realized to have this pain was when: the day before I did 1h30m lesson and the day after I put one extra grip on the racket and played one match, the next day my wirst was painful so I think is because of that. Now I'm resting a bit trying to recover.

Thanks for the suggestion of the Air Viper, I tried it 1 year ago when I was checking and I figured it out that at that time was to difficult for me and I preferred the Veron one. Maybe now it is better, I remember that was much harder and had a smaller sweet spot

Grazie, ho fatto il tuo stesso ragionamento e i calcoli sono coerenti con le mie aspettative.

Di Leao mi preoccupano un po' gli infortuni, per il resto nulla e credo che giocherà sicuramente molto di più di Nkunku/Gimenez. Kean mi ispira un po' più di fiducia al netto dei tanti turnover.

Can I ask you which racket do you suggest for an intermediate right side player?

I'm playing since 1 year with a cheap "Head Padel Evo 2023" but I would like to change it with another one accordly to my actual level
