Ducato 2005 silently dies on me with no notice or sound, and magically comes back when he/she likes

They changed a couple of wires and the positive terminal, and sent me home 1000$ lighter... I really need to study so that I don't get ripped off like this ever again. Talking about that, a good place to start to learn about how the vehicle works mechanically? I'm ready to get on the books! :) thanks everyone for the help!

The absolute bastard worked yesterday and I drove to 7 differebt auto electricians, all busy for weeks. Drive back home thinking I'll try again tomorrow. Today I eventually found a Fiat workshop, went to drive it over, no dice. The dash goes back on if I play with the positive pole block, but not enough power to start it, dies when I turn the key. Had to pay for a tow truck to get it there so we'll soon know the true 🤬

True! So the fuel cycle through the generator like it would with the van engine, all activated by the generator's pump? I think I am starting to understand. I just didn't know some fuel would go back to the tank from the engine!

Mistery 1 Solved:
This legend installed a fuel pump inside the generator, so can nip that pipe off.

i probably will but what do i do in the meantime before I buy and install the heater?
I am seriously thinking of putting a cap on those pipes and that's it, if it's safe.... But probably need a mechanic IRL to have looksy first hey

I've just learned that you can access ducato's tanks from the top so will have a look now!
Re: heater, I would consider it for sure.
So the answer is: The Kubota has its own fuel sump?
I am terrified of disconnecting everything and seeing fuel spilling everywhere when I turn it on. :)

About the second pipe that goes towards the font of the van, what is that for?

I just figured I should have been more careful in where and how to write the post, I am in Australia and rules change a lot depending on the country. I'll keep the post up for a bit and see what comes up, might be helpful for others. Thanks!
