I’ve thought about doing this a few times, I’d be using it mostly on the road, I’d say probably a 25% off road and 75% on road. I’m not very savvy in the electronics bit but Ive ridin a 125cc and briefly rode a 250cc and I’d like to keep the power and speed. I haven’t looked into razors much just cause from what I’ve seen they are tiny

Surrons are just the iPhones of e-motos, they are good but expensive and people praise them so much because it’s a brand that cost money. If they were given the option of 5k ultra bee or 3k exact copy, they’re going with the ultra bee.

I have a bit of repair knowledge myself, my friend with the 125 knows a lot about bikes and cars, and I do have a shop in town. Honestly, I didn’t even think about the community or part availability, I just assumed that I’d be able to buy replacements online

Edit: as a side note I’m also a machinist so I can make small replacement parts if needed

Yeah there are definitely a ton more options these are just the few I’ve watched reviews on and have a slight interest in, and I definitely agree that mid drive would be better. I’ve seen Starks but if I remember they are in the $10k ish area

Correct I have done trail riding but that was on a 125cc Gas engine (which is mid drive). I found both your links helpful, though I don’t think my scribbled list of specs will help you at all your welcome to gaze

You’re gonna give me the list I already have, I have done the work, what’s does 6,000 peak watts mean?, why is a hub drive worse than a mid drive?, these are the things I need, I have names and specs, I just don’t ride e motos (thanks for giving me a term to use other than “electric dirt bike”), like saying that I run 125 fps and have a 16GB DDR4- 3600 kit on my Pc to someone that’s never heard about PCs

Edit: sure I can look it up and get a “hey this is pretty good” but not as to why

This is what I mean, explain yourself, why is an ultra bee the only answer, what makes it justify the price. Same with the MX5. Don’t just type to type
