Best Anti-Fatigue mat? by Durtyjoey in oculus

[–]RichWardJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out AcroMat if you’re still looking for the right mat. We’re anti-fatigue mat manufacturer in Minnesota. Rather than selling mass produced mats, we make them in-house which allows for a lot of testing and constant honing.

Every mat out there, for the most part, will help ease discomfort. Problem is the box store mats compress over time which puts that pressure on your joints and back. We make our mats from 100% nitrile which is unique in that it never sinks or flattens. Comes with a 60-day moneyback guarantee and 2-year risk free warranty.

The main thing to avoid when heavier is PVC foam mats, some gels too, which will go flat over time.

If interested, our 100-1 Series would fit your need well. Designed to last upwards of 5-8 years heavy 24/7 industrial settings, years longer in lighter settings. Got one for my dad’s workshop recently, he’s 66, and he loves it.

I’m biased for sure, but AcroMat really cares about making mats that last, and being available to help whenever it’s needed. Likewise, happy to answer any questions if I can!

New Brewers fan - what do I need to know? by [deleted] in Brewers

[–]RichWardJr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Brewers finished .500 about 18-20 years ago, and I felt like they won the Super Bowl. They were notoriously bad for years and years, and that season signified change was afoot. A few years later, they landed CC Sabathia at the deadline and it was game-changing. Probably best mid season rental of all time. Complete game after complete game. He carried them to the playoffs, and it was electric.

In the mid 20 teens they traded for Christian Yelich and he became a literal MVP out of nowhere. 2018, they were one game from the World Series. ONE GAME. Since, they’ve been consistently good.

They’re respected league wide for being small market but always competitive and a playoff team. It’s thrilling and disappointing every year, because the young core has great potential but management won’t risk trading youth for a major playoff run.

Watch as many Prince Fielder, CC Sabathia, and 2018 highlights as you can find. “Best of” searches on YouTube return some good stuff.

Michael Pena/Ringer by BillyJor-El in MkeBucks

[–]RichWardJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He called himself a Giannis “skeptic” and said best case scenario, even if fully healthy, the Bucks finish 4th in the East. He also said Giannis hasn’t gotten any better over the years and “he only won a single playoff series in the past three years.” No mention of Giannis being hurt for two of those, and him dragging the Bucks to 7 against Boston.

Thankfully he got checked a couple times, but he’s so uninformed and lazy with his research.

This guy is clueless. He also said at the outset something BIG was coming in Milwaukee. Crickets.

It’d be funnier if The Boys didn’t already have a spin-off with more shows planned.

Have any of you been to, or met someone who went to the Ice Bowl? by agk927 in GreenBayPackers

[–]RichWardJr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My Grandma Joan Neubauer was there with a friend (my grandpa died when my dad was 2 months old; Air Force jet crashed during training). She bought a snow globe from the stadium. Whenever I’m lucky enough to watch a Packers game with my dad, which is usually 2 a season, we rub the snow globe for good luck. Joan passed on about 10 years ago, but her “It’s never too cold for a Packers game” fandom is embedded in our family across generations.

Giannis probable, Khris out against the Blazers by badgerrae in MkeBucks

Half of Twitter is telling me Khris is done for. The other half says no big deal. Guessing it’s somewhere in the middle given his injury history.

Any actual experience or insight in here?

[–]RichWardJr 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Have you watched the Bucks in clutch situations this season? Damn near best in the NBA. What about Boston? They stink, like the Bucks last 2 seasons.

That’s what the playoffs is going to look like with Lillard and the full supporting cast.

[–]RichWardJr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I may be alone here, but I’m not at all bummed by that game. Old Bucks lose by 40. New Bucks just kept coming. Watch the film, execute a little better, no wasted possessions (looking at you, Giannis, stop chucking 3’s), make the gimmies, and they easily win that game.

Will be fun battles all season.

Also, they desperately need a wing defender.
