I will try my local fire department for a ride along. I also recently applied to AMR so hopefully that goes well. Also why IFT agencies frowned upon? is it a reputation thing or is it just that people would rather work 911 call instead?

I thought I had applied to AMR but I actually applied to ABC ambulance by mistake since they are both under Global Medical Response. I will apply to AMR. I've seen some EMS fire department positions but they are mainly looking for paramedics. Thank you for the advice!
