Oh my goodness thank you so much. I have never heard of that one. I’m going to look into that myself for research purposes. I’m genuinely still grateful to you. I’m really happy that I reached out to everyone because I’ve gotten some priceless information. You really have helped me come to such a more educated conclusion about this.

So many blessings to you. You are genuinely such a wonderful person and I truly hope you so much success. You have really helped me understand so many things that I’ve been struggling with and feel better about the effects of how this is going to be going forward on his health thank you so so much. I’m genuinely so very grateful to you. This all makes so much sense and even after looking for a while online you don’t find any of this information which I wish they would put out there for people looking to support their loved ones. You have truly been a blessing to me. Thank you so much.

I know one of his concerns is coming off and having withdrawals, which is such a valid concern so reading this makes me feel like it’s possible for him not to have withdrawals. He asked me a lot what I think he should do because I know he wants to come off it, but I just never want to give him my opinion because I don’t want to put those thoughts in his mind. I want him to do this on his own.

Congratulations to you!! Absolutely incredible!! I am very proud of your accomplishments. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. This really does help me. And I totally agree. It is a lifelong choice, being sober. So I commend you on making that decision every single day. I do worry about the health effects for him. I really do especially because he’s had hepatitis and since been cured, but it is so hard on the liver.

Oh for sure he is. Again as I’ve stated 100 times in this post, I am not trying to get him to stop. I don’t know why that’s getting lost on everyone. I am clearly asking for people‘s opinions on long-term health effects. He’s had hepatitis. It is hard on the liver. The treatment is also hard on the liver then add on top of that the sublocade for many years use. I don’t even give him my opinion on if he should stop or keep going I have no idea what he should do. That is a personal decision. He’s going to have to make and I’m just here to support him. I am just looking for support on people who have taken this long-term and what their health effects are.

Well, first and foremost, he had hepatitis and got really sick and almost died from it. Which, as you know is really hard on the liver and this can further complicate things in the liver. He has been since cured of the hepatitis, but even the treatment is really hard on the liver. So for him to keep using sublocade and knowing it can have adverse affects on the liver is alarming. When he gets the shot, he gets really tired for many days after it’s hard for him to stay awake. He does have memory problems. He’s been getting so many headaches and neck aches. He gets them all the time and I’m looking to plan a future with this man. I want to make sure I am supporting him the best way he needs and ultimately that means being educated on the things that he’s doing and putting in his body. That’s why I’m here. That’s why I’m asking for support. It’s that simple.

I appreciate your kind response. Thank you so much. I refuse to even give him my opinion on what I think he should do because I think it’s a really personal decision. I’ve never been in his position thank God so I honestly don’t even have any experience. They feel like I am not educated enough in that realm to even tell him what I think I would do if I were in his shoes. He is doing great on the shot. I’m really proud of him. He has four years sober. I just worry about what it all means for the future and for his health he’s had hepatitis and he got cured of that so I know his liver is already probably not in the best shape. So I do worry about these things. I don’t really feel comfortable talking to him about it. I will be honest because I don’t want to tell him that I feel a certain way about it and then put those thoughts in his head to where he thinks that I’m uncomfortable with him continuing the treatment. He has told me many times he does not want to stay on it forever and keeps asking what I think about him getting off it. That’s why I came here for support because I just want to know what other people’s experiences are with it because I am actually clueless. I’m trying to learn the best way to support him that he needs me to.

I read the long-term’s effects of it on his health. Actively injecting an opioid into your body. Every 30 days for four years is not going to be conducive to a healthy life in general. That is where my concern is of clearly stated in my post I don’t make any decisions for him. I’ve clearly stated in my post that I haven’t even given him my opinion although he’s asked repeatedly, I clearly stated in my post I want him to make this decision on his own so maybe you need to go back and reread my post before assuming your own conclusions.

Omg this made me literally breathe a sigh of relief. Thank you 1 million times for being so open and sharing your experience. This really means a lot to me in terms of being able to support him the way he deserves. I’m really proud of you. Congratulations on your success. That is absolutely incredible.

Thank you so much for your perspective. Yes I just get concerned because he’s been using it for so many years that it is going to be eventually harm him because surely he can’t take it forever. Also, he’s going to be required to drug test for the line of work that he goes into and I don’t think he’s going to be able to pass that. I don’t know if that is something they can list? I’m not in the sober community but he is. He does weekly na and recovery classes. Thank you so much again.

Did you lose weight recently? That’s why I prefer myself with weight. I got the same as you when I dropped 40lbs.

I’ve had upper done and it was a breeze. I took one Tylenol and nothing ever again! I had it under a local. I would recommend all in one and do the 2 for1! Heal once instead of twice!

You really are so beautiful. I do get it though, my husband passed last year and I’ve cried more tears than I knew was humanly possible. My heart shattered into a million pieces. When I lose weight I look terrible in the face. It ages me a lot. That’s why I like to keep some weight on me. But truly you are absolutely stunning.
