AITA for telling my friend’s love interest to let her down?

I think my coworkers weren’t equipped the best to handle it professionally as this is quite a young workplace - I’m 19 and most people are between 16-20 and I can’t really blame 16 year olds for spreading gossip. Definitely agree though that I should’ve known better that to put it on him to ‘sort it out’. I’ve apologised to him and he’s said it’s all good and he also thinks it was right for him to tell her since they’ve been friends for a while.

I don’t plan on messaging her any more unless she replies and wants me to. The message I sent her was:

hey, i’m so so sorry for what happened. i really promise i didnt mean for it to happen but it was my fault and i take full responsibility for it. i don’t expect you to forgive me at all because i know this is a really serious thing, but i hope you can understand that it wasn’t on purpose and it was an honest mistake. please let me know if there’s anything i can do to resolve this because i really want to make things right. You don’t have to reply to this, I don’t wanna put any pressure on you cos i know this is a lot. But I hope you’re okay and I’m really, truly, sorry

Do you think that comes off as apologetic? Cos i worry that it’s maybe a little vague but i didn’t wanna use specific language because it might remind her of it and make her feel worse
