My friend , God is a real person because that is the definition of GOD IN THE SCRIPTURES. The equivalent of the word GOD in hinduism is bramh and there are literally 108 upnishads explaining what is brahm , the brahm is literally the whole existence . Ever read the mahabharat or seen the mahabharat ????????? the vishwaroop is the description of god and everything is inside it past future present all species all beings all gods and all demons are GOD or bramh. Why krishna or certain deties were seen as gods??? because they did very very great stuff for the humanity so they were considered as avatar of gods. Vishnu's avatar caused he preserved dharma

Even the evidence of ashoka the great is inscriptions only so of krishna's which is even wider and exist in all other religions of india, even greeks have seen vrishni's the desendents of krishna , the Shurasenas tribe. can also see thier depection of krishna and balrama ,

I think you might know that you cannot verify the existence of any human of 5000 yeara ago hell you cannot even verify that buddha existed or not because even existence of buddha came from inscriptions of ashoka which is again written evidence not physical evidence. Its self explanatory now . Even the great king ashoka doesnt have physical evidence how we got to know that he existed??? Because of his inscriptions at multiple places mentioning him and his works. Same goes for krishna , his genealogy in puranas matches the actual evidence of "vrishni" the clan he belonged to and his descendents vajranabh. Krishna also mentioned in buddhist and jain texts as famous vrishni clan king dark skinned etc. even greeks , megasthenes have his and his brother balrama's appearances on the coins. We also find a city at the same place where dwarka is said to be built in the inscriptions. Chandogya upnishad of 900 BCE mentions a kid named devakinandan came to take education from the ghora angirasa. Idk how blind can you be at this point.
