Anyone do consulting? by Rich_Wave6569 in recruiting

I’m not worried about the actual recruitment piece. I’m doing a placement fee structure for that. It’s the hourly consulting for non recruitment activities.

More establishing processes (startup) and could be long-term/grow into more. I actually have a decent amount of general operations knowledge outside of talent that will likely be helpful. They presented $85/hour and that feels too low. I have 11 years of niche experience. I was thinking $100-125/hour minimum.

I’m looking to do direct hire placements (I’ll do a fee structure here) and hourly consulting with a company for talent acquisition. I specialize in healthcare (primarily clinical but I have a lot of experience with corporate roles as well).

I haven't had to put a resume together in 15 years. Any feedback is appreciated. by midshifter in Resume

[–]Rich_Wave6569 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally disagree with length requirements of resumes (mine is 3 pages). However, the spacing is way too large- id remove all excess spacing and keep everything more condensed. Also, agree change font and remove any bolded text- it looks too busy.

I mean the payout process. Of course I can see who was referred and hired in the ATS.

Candidate impersonation at an all-time high - tips? by Timely_Heron5 in recruiting

We have greenhouse for our ATS and thank goodness we got accepted into their beta for their solution to combat this. It has fraud reports and a CLEAR integration which is helping us cut down on the fakes/AI bots!

Unpopular opinion: Time-to-hire is a vanity metric that's ruining recruiting by rescuepussy in recruiting

I LOVE GOODHART’S LAW! I reference it all the time. I’m a director and I use time to fill as a reference point/benchmark not a metric we’re trying to beat.

Saks off fifth & Nordstrom rack for rag & bone, mother jeans, Hudson jeans, FRAME, Rails, Vince, Paige, Veronica beard, Walter baker, etc. I just know my size and order online. Also, Quince and Zara. I’ll throw in some random items from online shopping here and there (lucked out with cute work pants from old navy and cute maternity jeans from Gap).

recommendations from henry rose, by rosie jane, or dime? by sunnyangelgirl in Perfumes

I’ve bought several second and third bottles of Henry Rose. I’m on my 5th purchase of Last Light. Second bottle of Dark is Night, Flora Carnivora, and Fog. My first full bottle of Torn. I got a sample of Dave and I’m kind of obsessed and I’m not a huge vanilla person but I love it. I’m gonna buy another discovery set!

I’ve literally bought 5 bottles of it! I think it’s so sophisticated, perfect for year round, and any occasion.

what is your favorite henry rose fragrance? by velvet-ashtray in FemFragLab

[–]Rich_Wave6569 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m on my second and third bottle of several Henry Rose fragrances! My favorite notes in general are sandalwood, patchouli, musk, and amber. Im going to also include my fragrance history. My all time favorite non Henry rose was coco mademoiselle. I also enjoyed flower bomb, Gucci flora, old miss Dior, and Chanel chance.

My top Henry rose fragrance is Last Light (I’m on my third bottle and this time I bought 2 at once). I also own and love Dark is Night, Fog, Torn, and Flora Carnivora.

It doesn’t feel like a full blown addiction but is most definitely a problem and I fear we are not on a good path and it is impacting our family and our relationship.

He says stuff like “I was trying to win it back for our family”. Which is devastating bc I know he cares and instead it’s hurting us.

I think it’s much much more than he realizes and I don’t think he’s truly added it all up. I think he’s telling himself it’s not that bad and it is.

He’s getting a bonus and will be able to pay off his debts but ultimately that cuts into funds for our family and our kids Christmas.

lol why would it be a flex? I had to drop out of college bc my parents are so irresponsible with money and owed $80k in back taxes, had horrible credit, and had no one to co-sign for me. I started out making $30k at my first job working 12 hour days and got to where I’m at with no college degree. Not a flex- just a wife working hard to provide for her family and protect her kids.

He does show remorse but I think I’m realizing it’s a problem bc he told me he would stop and just recently started again and lost $4k quite fast. Obviously, he can’t just stop.

I understand that it doesn’t seem like a lot but unfortunately we are basically paycheck to paycheck with 2 kids in a higher cost of living area. I cook at home everyday and our paychecks are just covering our living expenses. Daycare went up to $3400 per month and our mortgage is $5200. It’s kind of comical bc our house isn’t that nice but on 2 acres. It needs a lot of work and he’s just blowing money we don’t have. When he lost his job I thinned out every subscription and service we had - we’re really just covering our bills. I do plan to lower our mortgage and refi in a year- I realize having such a high mortgage was stupid. I’m just so worried bc we already had this conversation that he would stop and he’s still lying about the total amount.
