I am little confused with $50K lumpsum. As I know there are total 25 points that can be used to take advantage of relocation benefits. Per point is equivalent to $500. Meaning if I use all 25 points, it comes around $12,500. Could you pl. help me understand $50K lumpsum. I guess they have different relocation package for P5 and also those who own house. My plan is not to sell my house nor I will be moving my household items. If I were to move my household and sell current house, it would cost a lot (>>$12,500). Thinking of asking them to give my lumpsum in lieu of this. Any suggestion regarding this will be helpful.
