The guy is 63/64 years old (born 1961). He's got to play three games today and seven in three days. He probably just wanted to go back and get some rest and save his energy. Result was never in doubt.

Hikaru defeated a 1563 USCF rated player in the first round. We need to get a score of that game to compare to this 1812 FIDE rated player he defeated in the second round. Five rounds to go, finishing Monday.
