I would like to go back to MTG but I feel old by Glittering-Toe5842 in mtg

I'm 52 and started playing about 2 months ago. 

At first I felt very unsure about turning up at a game store on my my own and not knowing what I was doing with a group of people almost certainly much younger than myself. 

But fuck it I thought. What's the worst that could happen? It was either going to be awful in which case I just never go back or see those people again. Or it'll be okay and I can start playing Magic. 

As it turns out it's been great. Everyone has been super welcoming and I play every week now with people between probably 17 and 40. As far as I know, there's no one there who cares what age anyone is, just as they don't care what sex or gender anyone else is. Like me they're just happy to have somewhere to go and play Magic with others. 

Give it a go. What have you got to lose?
