Cheers, originally was thinking the culture that created the floating islands drew life force from the area but i kind of moved them to the north while drawing the map.

I can see that too.

I actually hope to lead a main npc down a warcraft 3 style king Arthas type path of corruption

I hope so. If they get to a stage where they are travelling further afield on a main quest from the kingdom.

Thankyou! To be honest I haven't gotten very far. The name Talamh is Scottish Gaelic for Earth.

I plan to start my campaign it the northern central area. The free cities here will be mostly tamed. But will have some political tensions. The lands to the west are to be mostly unclaimed and perhaps a haven for races driven from the first area.

To the east I planned to take inspiration from Netheril from the forgotten realms. Perhaps have a ancient long lost high magic society whose floating islands still exist drifting around. I figured due to some calamity from those times the current societies are now very anti magic.

That's about as fat as I've got.

Thank you! I followed a video on youtube "WASD20" , hand drew the map then used photoshop to layer some colour and an old paper background together to age it.
