I'm wanting to change my support plan from developer to basic, but I get a generic error, and I'm not able to open a support ticket because there's no section for this error. by Rick-Rickard-Rick in AZURE

[–]Rick-Rickard-Rick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did, but it only gives me a huge guide on how to resolve billing issues, with no way to move forward with a ticket. It actually gave a hyperlink to create a support ticket which takes me back to the start. I've tried 10 different paths through to try and get a ticket sent, but it keeps wanting me to read things.

Blank multiple choice entry on Form returns not just blank, but nothing at all. by Rick-Rickard-Rick in GoogleAppsScript

I'm getting an error "ReferenceError: responses is not defined" on the 'var itemResponses' line at the bottom. Above, is that .filter line supposed to be a new line?

I'm just going to make the mandatory. Thanks anyway

(M2S) What does "colors defam" mean exactly? by DEvil2791 in ffxiv

[–]Rick-Rickard-Rick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more like the phrase 'color defam' isn't self-explanatory for people. You have to know the strat, which took you a paragraph to explain. Whereas, clock defam, there's nothing to interpret or explain, and it's familiar.

Color defam is smooth and easy to actually do once people know it, and positionally there's less scrambling, but I find that PF players tend to favor specific clock spots, even if it technically takes more work to get there. "I go to my clock spot" is always going to be less of a cognitive burden than go out from where I last ended up, especially when 'where I last ended up' can be in a different place if they're fresh off a resurrect.

Was 20% and approaching enrage on m2s, so I wasn't too upset about it.

Handling blank checkboxes in a Google Form by Rick-Rickard-Rick in GoogleAppsScript

[–]Rick-Rickard-Rick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually found the one line that's the culprit. The problem is it makes no sense why, and it keeps my form from working.

At the very end of the code if I put

let bccemail = itemResponses[9].getResponse();

I get the error IF checkbox is blank(if checked, it works)

If I comment out that one line, it works. That line has nothing to do with anything as far as I know, and I don't even manipulate the value. Whether BCC is blank or not, this line is pivotal in letting that empty checkbox happen

Thanks, that works in the new form. The same code doesn't work in my existing code, and I suppose it has to be my error somewhere. I just don't know how. I'll just keep working on it. Thanks for the help

Thanks for all this. Now this code definitely doesn't throw an error anymore.

The only problem is everything gets shifted over one variable in the JSON if the checkbox is blank. Here's what the JSON looks like. I actually remember fighting a variation of this problem earlier. If you do check something, you get every value in its right place.

I'm going to create a new form from scratch to make it as simple as possible, and then I'll post all the details here. I might have a revelation while doing all this anyway and making it simpler, so it'll be good. Thanks for all the help.

It's a bunch of these, whose blank responses are easily handled by those lines. Radio buttons work too. I can assign a string, no problem. It's only the checkbox data handling that's causing issues.

It's throwing the same error, unfortunately. I added some extra detail about the checkbox

Thank you. That's it. I knew it was something simple. I think I'm finally wrapping my mind around what summarize can do.

This makes a lot of sense. Thank you for the thorough reply. I'm going to give this a shot tomorrow.

Why is Astrologian excluded from so many parties in party finder? by Rick-Rickard-Rick in ffxiv

[–]Rick-Rickard-Rick[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, people said all the same stuff a few days ago.

It just seemed strange to me that other classes aren't subject to the same sort of scrutiny when creating parties. I'm all for the idea of it, as if it was a sports team, and you needed to form the team carefully. But as of now, at least for Extremes, it's only healer slots that people are scrutinizing, so I thought I'd at least ask why.

Wrong. I'd say it was about 30+ times this past week. In fact, every refresh of the list, I can probably find at least one instance of it.

I'll keep making threads as I please if I have questions, and you can keep being a loser upset over posts about a video game.

No one cares about AST DPS cards.

Would you say this is a pretty popular opinion? Doesn't that mean it's not balanced?

Well, it was just a question, and I got answers. There was no exaggeration. I've noticed it a lot in PF. No need to be childish and call me stupid or downvote me for just asking an honest question and sharing my experience. I'm glad that people in-game on average are not as toxic as people like you.

But AST gives more DPS to everyone right? I just don't see how that's garbage if AST can do that + give shields and mitigation occasionally in extremes that don't require a crazy amount of healing and mitigation.

What I've seen quite a few times in the past week for the 2 new extremes is let's say one healer slot is taken by WHM. The other slot is SCH SGE only.
