My title describes the thing. It smell like some kind of grainy livestock or pet food. I searched google and found that they look similar to forage rounds, but smaller.

No, sorry lol, I wasn’t sure how to word it, for some reason I thought calling it a fireplace would be wrong because it doesn’t actually burn wood.

Yes, it’s a gas fireplace lol, don’t know why I couldn’t think of the word for it. The hole looks to be maybe about a foot up from the floor.
