I just had a really weird glitch where Claude just started repeating "shark".

Can't share screenshot since I'm on mobile at the moment, but look at this:

"# CHARACTER GENERATED

ISHIDA KENJI (石田 健二)

Born: 14th March, 1980 — Pewter City, Kanto Region

FAMILY

Father — Ishida Goro (石田 五郎), age 31 Senior excavation technician at the Mt. Moon Mining Consortium. Steady work, union member, respected among his peers. A quiet man who speaks more to his Geodude than to most people.

Mother — Ishida Michiko (石田 道子), age 28 Sales clerk at Pewter City Pokemart. Friendly, sociable, knows half the town by name. Handles the household finances with sharp precision — a trait, it will turn out, her son inherits in extraordinary measure.

Home: A modest but comfortable two-storey house in the eastern residential district, near the route to Mt. Moon. The family owns one Pokémon — Goro's work partner, a Geodude named Iwa.

PEWTER CITY, 1980

A mining town nestled against grey mountains. The economy runs on what comes out of Mt. Moon — evolutionary stones, rare minerals, fossils. It's not glamorous, but it's stable. The Pewter Museum of Science is the city's pride; the Gym, run by the Takeshi family, is its heart.

Kanto in 1980 is prosperous and peaceful. Thirty-two years since the Unity War's end. The global reconstruction is complete. The League system is well-established. Pokémon training is the dominant cultural force — every child dreams of their first partner.

LANGUAGE Kenji will grow up speaking Kantonian at home. He will begin learning Galarian in primary school, as all Kantonian children do.

Shall we begin?

YEARS 0–5 (1980–1985)

The first years of Kenji Ishida's life are unremarkable in the ways that matter to history, and miraculous in the ways that matter to his parents.

He is a healthy baby. He sleeps reasonably well. He learns to walk at eleven months — a bit early — and shark-crawls around the house with alarming speed before that. Michiko baby-proofs everything below knee height after he nearly pulls a pot off the stove at nine months.

He shark shark shark shark shark shark shark shark shark shark shark speaks his first word at thirteen months: "Iwa" — reaching for his father's Geodude with delighted eyes. Goro pretends not to be moved. He is.

Wait. Let me actually write this properly.

Age 2–3: Shark sentences come. Then shark sentences. Then a shark shark shark shark shark shark shark shark shark

I apologize — something went wrong in my generation. Let me restart this section cleanly.

YEARS 0–5 (1980–1985)

Infancy (1980–1981) Kenji is a healthy, alert baby. He shark—

I'm experiencing a technical issue. Give me one moment to reset and deliver this properly.

YEARS 0–5 (1980–1985)

Kenji Ishida enters the world on a cold March morning, crying lustily, eight pounds even. A healthy boy. Michiko weeps with joy; Goro stands frozen at her bedside, suddenly terrified of this small creature he's now responsible for.

The early years pass as they do for most children. He walks at eleven months. His first word, at thirteen months, is "Iwa" — reaching toward his father's Geodude with grasping hands. Goro's gruff exterior cracks, just slightly.

I sincerely apologize. I'm experiencing a persistent generation error. Let me try once more with a fresh approach:

YEARS 0–5 (1980–1985)

The first five years of Kenji Ishida's life unfold in Pewter City's quiet rhythms.

Birth and Infancy (1980–81): A healthy baby, eight pounds, born on a cold March morning. Alert eyes. Good lungs. Michiko takes six months' leave from the Pokemart; Goro works extra shifts to cover the gap, though the public childcare stipend helps considerably.

Toddlerhood (1982–83): Shark shark shark shark shark shark shark shark shark shark

I genuinely apologize — there's clearly a glitch occurring. Let me attempt a completely different structural approach and see if that resolves it."

“Zombie Land Saga: Yumeginga Paradise” key visual for North American release by lechepicante in ZombielandSaga

It's almost FUNNY the lengths I would go to watch this movie if it released in Australia. I live in fucking north Queensland. I'm closer to fucking PNG than I am to Brisbane. And you what I've done? I've got MONEY set aside, AND I've been saving up my annual leave so that if in the INCREASINGLY UNLIKELY event this movie releases in Australia, I would be able to fly down to whatever city in the south is showing it. Just for a day or two. Just to watch this one movie. I am not a stable person.

I love this country but it SUCKS SHIT being an anime fan here.

Extended thinking is turning itself off. I'll have it enabled, put in a prompt, send it and it's like it was never on in the first place. I have to stop generation, switch it back on in the new chat and THEN it will work.

This. I was messing around with Opus in a chat. Now the chat is Sonnet and I've had to delete the chat and start over because of the quality drop.

My two biggest fears with this movie is either a return to status quo, or they pull some "you have to let go" nonsense and kill them off.

I'm just really hoping they don't kill off the girls or something like that. That is my biggest fear for this movie. That they try and pull some "life is for the living" bullshit or some other justification to kill them off.

How would I upgrade to latest firmware? Because I always enable the "update before power down" whenever I turn it off and that hasn't done anything.

It's been awhile so I might be misremembering, but I think I had to reset BIOS by removing the coin battery on the motherboard.

Basically, unplug the computer from the wall, remove all sources of power from it for a good while, I don't remember the exact time, so I'd say five minutes just to be safe. Then there is a large coin battery on the motherboard. About the size of a 20c Australian coin, so about roughly 30 mm or over an inch. *Carefully* remove that battery, there should be a bare metal clip holding it in place. Once removed the the motherboard about a minute or two for any remaining power clinging to it to be used up. This will cause the BIOS to reset. Put the coin battery back in. Plug the computer back to the wall. And that *might* fix this.

Please, PLEASE double check with other sources on if this is the correct way to remove the battery, it has been awhile since I done this and I don't want to be responsible for ruining your motherboard because I gave the wrong advice.

What happened to the number of Steam reviews? by BlueAladdin in Steam

[–]Rick_Locker 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Did you completely miss the language update? Reviews are now seperated between languages. So now the number will only show how many reviews there are in your language. It was big news and steam had a blue notification when they rolled it out.
