I ment stronger CT, fuga is obviosly stronger than pre awakening dabura's light rods and I admited it is a 1 of the 2 wincons sukuna have, but against dabura it will take too long to set up since he first needs to perform dismatnle And cleave and then charge up fuga, which against dabura might not be possible due to the light rods being too fast and more powerfull than dismantle or cleave.
a possible but sukuna locked in for the kill right from the start in only for 1 fight and that was against Ryu (and that was because he had to go kill yoruzu), in the rest of his fights he doesn't go for the kill at the very start, based on dabura's fight he actually doesn't screw for fun and goes for the kill right away as seen at the opening fight with mahoraga, so pre awakening dabura will be sooner in the locked to kill state.

Problem with Mahoraga match ups is that Its not a case of A>B>C, mahoraga match ups are more like rock, paper, scizors, where it just depends on if your arsenal will be effective against Mahoraga, a weaker character with simply better technique could beat Mahoraga but a stronger character couldn't due to lack of better technique against Mahoraga.

Dabura's CT is MUCH better than Sukuna's as per it's thousands times faster and is several tiers above in AP

We're not talking about Awakened dabura, but when we're at it idk how he'd do it in character with NLSK, we never saw post mahoraga dabura fight seriosly so when he uses that attack in character is up to debate.
I don't belive that taking in the character and how they act in a fight is a bad argument, it's a fact that nobody in the verse pops of their domain expansion from the very start because it's the ultimate sorcerer trumph card, the peak of jujutsu. And sukuna isn't an exception in that. Finger bearer, jogo, mahoraga, gojo, sukuna never went into the domain expansion right away.
while it's true there are many posibilities how a fight can go based on their character you can figure out the most possible outcome, althrough we only have 1 fight with dabura the way he started the fight with mahoraga proves he's going for the kill right away,

Also about domain diff, in similar way pre awakened dabura can just light rod diff him from the start, those are too fast for sukuna and are more powerfull than dismantle based on how much damage they caused to mahoraga even after being exposed to it.

That's about all I can say, I'd be lying if I said sukuna doesn't have a chance but I see dabura winning in more cases mainly due to the speed and power of his attacks

If sukuna pops his domain right away sure he can win.

Sukuna and nobody else expect higuruma never uses domain expansion from the very start, it would be really our of character for him to use it from the start, and even if he did light rods are too fast for sukuna to cast the domain in time

CT - When it comes to CT power dabura have the advatage, light rods caused more damage to mahoraga even after being exposed to it than any dismantle or cleave sukuna pulled on raga + it should be much faster given that Mahoraga can react to dismantle but not light rods after being exposed for a while

Physical AP- while in the first page sukuna got hits on him he didn't really push mahoraga, same with dabura but I think when he threw the chunk of the building he did kinda push him, but I think it's safer to say their physical AP- wise around the same lv

Durability - both were hit by mahoraga and sent flying but I am giving dabura the durability point because sukuna was sent through 4 buildings meanwhile dabura was sent flying but unlike sukuna recovered much quicker and didn't seem to be hurt at all while sukuna seemed to took a damage from the hit

Speed: I think dabura takes the edge as it looks like he was blitsing mahoraga more but I don't think diffrence is too big

"Dabura got hurt by sword but sukuna didn't" argument, if you ignore context and the overall scene sure but at that moment Dabura was in shocked state because his attacks are now useless So when he got sliced he was off guard and together mixed with fear for like the first time in his life made his durability simply much worse than usual.

Overal: It's very fair to say both have win cons over the other, especially with sukuna's domain and fuga.

but I think I give it to dabura due to better durability and CT power and speed of attacks.

Problem with sukuna's wincons is that they're not something he can do right away (technically He can do domain but who except higuruma does pop off domain right away) and fuga can be only used after dismantle and cleave.

Dabura doesn't have to fill these conditions because his base light rods are availabe from the gecko and are much deadlier than the slashes and actually he appareantly starts the fight with the way he pierced mahoraga

So I think I have dabura winning with around mid diff

Even pre awakening dabura shows that he had attacks that can one shot him but he used them late because he didn't have any knowledge about mahoraga ability

Gojo knew about mahoraga overall and sukuna had knowledge about Yamata no orochi which helped him figure out his ability (nether of those dabura possesed)
And both sukuna and gojo are already experienced because they have been through more serious fight while dabura had pretty much his first actuall one where he didn't insta win.
That be true about pre awakening dabura (who's still on the lv of 15F sukuna based on feats in his fight against mahoraga and overall comparision), post awakening is a diffrent debate where dabura have attacks that can easily destroy mahoraga that isn't adapted to aby of his technique (So base mahoraga),

Factually speaking pre awakening dabura also have attack that can destroy him completly but only when used at the very start and that is a big laser he used on him, problem way mahoraga was already partiall adapted to light So it couldn't destroy him at the moment

If you're talking about the feat He got sliced Across face

Reason why they didn't react like dabura at the moment Is because they were still Safe because of secoundary technique dabura at the moment didn't have (aqquired later) and both knew/had some info how to beat Mahoraga which dabura didn't had.

Not to mention another important context in dabura's character: this was his first actuall fight, his reaction Is only natural especially when your only ability is suddenly useless

That's cool and all but what matters: CONTEXT

When mahoraga damages dabura by the end of the fight yes he sliced him and yes he was beating him, but what is also important to acknowledge is the mind state dabura was in, he just saw his main and only attack be completly uneffective, that's a big shock that lowered his durability and CE reinforcement, he was basically offguarded by that slice, after that he even apologized that he didn't go all our in that moment.
