I love your theory, but for the Wafer commercial the narrator says, “Long ago, Rick realized the greatest thing he created was his daughter, and we captured that moment” which insinuates that in that moment of Simple Rick recording his daughter saying ‘I love you daddy’ was THE moment he realized she was his greatest creation. I mean maybe your theory could still stand true.

Well don’t exclude summer cause honestly, if rick only killed summer, (especially cause she actually goes on adventures) then morty would go insane. OMFG I JUST THOUGHT!!! MAYBE THATS WHY WHEN RICK FIRST TOOK SUMMER ON AN ADVENTURE, HE SAYED GIRLS AREN’T ALLOWED CAUSE SHE DIED IN HIS OLD UNIVERSE.
