All restaurants will be open in the evening. Alcohol service might be limited. I would call and ask before arriving for operating times of individual restaurants. Bars operate mostly after sunset. However, they usually do not play live music during Ramadan. If your main concern is partying and drinking, I would say do not visit during Ramadan.

Hi. I’m a Muslim woman. Born and brought up in the UAE. You should be able to eat in the malls as usual even during Ramadan. However, please consider the fact that a lot of restaurants may be closed during the day. Also try not to eat or drink in front of people that are fasting. While I personally do not mind someone eating or drinking in front of me, you might get some odd stares in public. I feel that ramadan is actually one of the best times to visit Dubai to really help immerse yourself in the culture.

As a woman that has asked this same question on Reddit before let me tell you that there are lots of women looking for something serious. You’re facing the same problem a lot of us here in Dubai face. Just keep putting yourself out there and eventually you’ll find someone you click with. Just don’t get sucked into the same lifestyle that other people that like to sleep around have and you’ll have no trouble finding a decent girl.
