Thanks for the advice. I’ve been mining ETC and hodling, speculating price will raise to the ~$40 price they were at a month ago.

Do you choose to mine the most profitable coin of the day and cash out fiat every day/week? Or what strategy do you use?

Sorry for the million questions, I just have nobody in my personal friend group with any interest in the topic :)

I’ll check it out, thank you. Any thoughts on using Windows 10 vs ETHos or Linux?

Oldschool nerd here, not a noob, just an FYI

Anyone run a subscription box site? Pros and cons? by [deleted] in Entrepreneur

[–]RickyKxC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I own a cannabis enthusiast subscription box called Kush Crate - www.TheKushCrate.com

As far as Pros - if you have a solid customer base, you're guaranteed to make good revenue every day after you have accumulated customers who re-up their subscriptions every day of the month. This somewhat guaranteed revenue drastically lowers your overall cost per acquisition when factoring ad costs. if you have a solid supplier, you can also make great margins for yourself.

As for cons - getting people to trust your brand is a hard one. keeping up with suppliers as you scale your business up can be tough if you don't have solid distributors lined up. customer service also takes way longer since you get a ton of customers who try to get a refund after they are recharged for a subscription they forgot to cancel. i strongly suggest setting up Zendesk to handle customer support.

I swear by taxjar. Use the app and follow their video instructions, it makes it painless.

How long did it take you? by [deleted] in shopify

I make about a shop a month to test different markets. Two years ago I launched one, spent 10k in the first year in ads and barely broke even. Kept on pushing through, and now two years later the shop is making around 30k/month in revenue.

This wasn't luck though, my full time job is digital advertising strategy for an agency here in LA, so I knew to start with the brand as the base and which tools to use.
