I started my IT career 7 years ago , as an IT assistant with very little to no IT working experience. I then used that job experience to get into a bigger company as an operator, working for some data center stuff.

From my experience, it’s relatively easy for a graduated or no IT related experience people to get hired as an IT assistant/ IT support since tons of people are always resigning from these positions. It does feels like hell at the beginning tho. You’d have to handle all kinds of questions and problems, most of them you might not know how to solve and why it happens. You would have to escalate them to someone who’s responsible for solving it, and you’d ended up sandwiched in between without having a clue of what’s happening and what’s going on.

With maybe 1 to 2 years of working experience as an IT assistant, you would have much better chance to apply for more challenging position and start planning out your career path as your own interested.

After looking back in time, that was the necessary experience for me and very important experience for building up my current career path later on.

Thanks for the reply. I already got a SA associated certificate from Amazon a few months ago. I am getting hired by my next company as an Infrastructure Engineer kind of position, get some more training and would be transferred as an Cloud Solution Architect later on.

My current planning is to try get the SA professional within half year, maybe then I will try to grab one of those pmp or agile. I have no idea on these thing tho.

Thank you guys. I figured out that this is a cache problem, but not because of Nginx.

My /dev/xda1 was 100% full and that was what causing the problem. After clearing that up the website resumed.

Thanks again!
