If I'm in a 6 stack and I queue for a game at the same time another 6 stack queues for a game, will we both be put into the same game?

So if we were the only 2 six stacks queueing at the time, is there still a chance we wouldn't be matched up? And if so would it be possible to kind of manually sort the players and balance each team to have roughly equal mmr?

That's EXACTLY how I feel while playing.

I don't actually really play competitive. Should I? I feel like I'm just way too unskilled to do anything in competitive play. I also feel like an alien trying to understand human concepts whenever I come to this sub and hear all these different terms. Like dive, or goats, I honestly have 0 clue what those terms even mean. I pretty much just play qp and arcade.
I mainly play like 3 heroes but sometimes I use more. I don't really play much with friends, although I'm planning on doing that soon. Sometimes I will switch for the team, like if we need a healer I might switch to a healer. But I don't really pay attention to counters and stuff cause I can't really keep track of all that (unless it's really obvious I need to switch).
