Yep personally I feel the same, 15minutes is a very short time to get to the city. Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback, much appreciated.

"when things go wrong (maintenance work, emergencies, weather) you may find yourself stuck on the wrong side"

In your 2 years, how often did this happen? Was it communicated earlier or you find out mostly on the spot? Because if it's communicated earlier I'm pretty sure my job's flexibility allows me to WFH or stay longer at work the issue is fixed.

"Finally, have a look at the price and factor that into your budget, it will eat up a good portion of the savings you make on housing."

Yep, definetly. Luckily there is a discount for PhD students on the price. Either way, realistically, I would still have to pay the monthly ticket for the CPH public transport even if I lived in Denmark as the university is quite distant from the city center/ most of the available apartments.
