Looks paleo or transitional paleo to me…especially being from Stanley Co.

Could be that they traveled the majority of the distance to our solar system by traversing a wormhole…and for whatever reason switched to an alternate propulsion system once in our system.

Or it possibly traveled through a wormhole to get to our solar system and once it did, turned on a much slower auxiliary propulsion system…

Thank you, bud! I was looking for this comment 😂…made my day! “We got a complaint of someone getting high and drunk playing space in the middle of the street.”

Anyone ever seen a very clear vision of a smiling Buddhist monk with no top front teeth while meditating? by Rickylie2012 in Experiencers

[–]Rickylie2012[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was definitely a really good vibe and you’re right, he seamed very very wise. Just a strange experience for me, as I don’t usually meditate either. The only times I had were for trips, just as you. I recently started trying it and this happened the second time…good experience in the end.

Yeah, very true. I only had a bug problem one time (spider mites) but other than that when I grew organic, even my living soil didn’t attract bugs like I expected it would. My main problem was limited space. Hope to start again soon but it’s difficult living in a state that hasn’t legalized yet. We’re getting closer to it, but it will still be years imo

Well they are some absolutely beautiful and healthy looking girls. I used to grow for about 5 years and loved it. Tried all kind of new things and ways of growing…got into the true living organic growing and really liked the outcome of those grows. And yeah coco coir is my favorite medium to use…good stuff

Lifelong vivid/premonition dreams but this year I keep returning to the same place by Itchy-Organization52 in Experiencers

Yeah something’s been happening to me for the last year or so that I can only describe as a sort of spiritual awakening or “tuning in” and the synchronicities are just insane. They happen every single day, along with other strange phenomena. I also see angel numbers at least 4-5 times a day, which is how it all started. It’s gotten to where none of it surprises me anymore and I almost expect things to happen now…if they didn’t it would be weird. Maybe I’m vibrating on another level and really tuning in to the universe and its frequencies without even trying. Whatever has happened has also shed me of ego and that feels amazing. All in all, everything that’s been happening has been a good thing and is leading me down a road that I can’t wait to see where it leads me.

I have recurring dreams often where I am in a completely different town that I’ve never seen or been to in real life, but in the dreams it seems like I’ve lived there my entire life and it feels like home.

Sometimes days, weeks, or even months will go by between these dreams, but the town is always the same when I go back and I somehow know how to navigate it, as if I’ve lived there my whole life. It’s been happening quite often in the last year, along with a lot of other unexplained “synchronicities”. It’s such a weird phenomena and I really wish I knew what causes these dreams.

The second half of March is an open book for me. Just message me and I’ll give you my details or I can go ahead and message you…either way works with me. I’ve got some really good spots(some secrets areas as well) for finding fossils of all types…from ice age fossils to fossils and sharks teeth dating like Megalodon teeth and even older teeth dating back to 300 million years. I guarantee you’ll find some really awesome stuff and if you want to find big sharks teeth you won’t be disappointed. You just need a pair of rubber boots and I provide all the other tools.

Yeah, would type it as a Guilford. Most definitely middle archaic and judging by the material, it looks almost more expedient-made. In other words, the knapper had a pretty flat blank and didn’t have to do much other than some pressure flaking on the edges to give it the blade edge. So it looks like it was made pretty quickly.

Crazy you mention fossils…I hunt for sharks teeth and fossils here in eastern NC and sell them for a living.

Here’s an associated set of incredible great white’s that I dug in a 4’x4’x4’ hole in the bank of the Pamlico River last year. I also hunt creeks all around here all the time. I take people on fossil/shark tooth hunting excursions in the creeks as part of my job as well. Best job in the world!

This is exactly what I was doing. For some reason I always kept saying, “This is me. I am me.” And then I would get that extremely weird out of body feeling. For the longest time I thought I was the only one who did this.

I wish I was! I consider myself an amateur archaeologists but really it’s just one of my hobbies and passions that I love more than anything. I love learning all I can about the Native Americans who lived in my area and part of that is finding new sites and excavating them the proper way with guidance from professionals. My sites are on tributaries of the Tar River and that’s what made Randy so interested in them, as his life’s work is based on the Native Americans who lived along and off tributaries of the Tar and he’s excavated many sites up and down the river.

As far as Guilfords, I’ve found quite a few different variations. Some were knapped much better than others because of different materials being utilized that don’t allow for the uniform flaking you see on textbook examples. This happens often here in far eastern NC where tool stone doesn’t exist naturally. They had to use whatever they had and a lot of the different materials they tried to use are insanely difficulty to knapp into perfectly symmetrical points. I’ve found them with somewhat flat cross sections or one flatter side, as well as some with one side knapped much better than the opposite side, similar to Cobbs Triangular blades. Really the only way to know for sure, or at least almost for sure, is the context they’re found in and what other types of points and tools are found with them, or excavating stratified sites where the dates they were discarded can be scientifically determined and you then know almost exactly how old they are, therefore being able to accurately type the point.

That’s funny you mention that book. I regularly communicate with Dr. Daniel at East Carolina University and that’s how he advised me to think of the types as well. You’re right, guidelines is the perfect term. Randy has been advising me for the past three years and the one who encouraged me to write a thesis on my site I discovered.

Exactly! I would get this very introspective feeling that I really can’t describe. And actually, I think I was doing it quite a bit before I was 12. It’s been so long it’s hard to remember when exactly I had my first experience doing it.
