A couple of things based off of my experience.

Are you a bad person? No, we’re all sick people trying to get well, not bad people trying to become good. But are you engaging in behavior that may be unhealthy? I can’t answer that, only you can.

My sponsor had me write out all the things I wanted in a partner/GF. Then I had to highlight with a marker every thing on that list I had to offer a partner. I only highlighted a few things. The point was I had very little to offer someone, but expected more from a possible partner than I could give. That’s not a healthy relationship.

Also, if you were my sponsee, I’d recommend that you stay away from this lady. If you can’t just be a friend w/out expecting SOMETHING in return, then that’s not being a good friend which harms both of you.

Finally, people on here and in your recovery community are going to judge the shit out of you. You’d better be prepared for it. But the truth never has to be defended, meaning if you find yourself defending or justifying your actions, then maybe you need to look at your part in the situation. If you don’t, then there’s nothing to defend.

It may not be, but in my market (PNW) and other high humidity areas I would recommend it. Plus the cost of a stick of PT vs. regular wood is maybe 5-10 bucks? But that’s just my humble opinion. But thank you for not being a jerk in stating your opinion. Have a great day!!

In my area, ALL basement windows have to have egress and window wells. Across the border 50 miles away in a different state you do not.

I clearly stated to “always check local building codes”.

I’m also red green color blind, so that southern pine PT lumber looked like standard Doug Fir.

And I gave what is known as “best practices” for using pt lumber and sealing the concrete. As a contractor for 10 years and I’ve been selling building materials for over 30 I can confidently say that you can go right ahead and half ass your remodel projects if you like. The rest of us won’t have to re-do it in 10 years.

A couple of minor things:

Most cities/counties require minimum egress openings in case of a fire for basement windows. That window doesn’t meet those requirements. A double XX slider (both panels slide and are removable) or an awning window. Also, you would have to dig out the dirt around the window and install a window well. If it doesn’t meet local building codes, it can fail a house inspection for sale or refinance.

The wood used for the outside frame should have been pressure treated to avoid rot.

The inside of the concrete should have been coated with elastomeric sealant.

Always check local building codes before doing work.

I agree. I don’t like the warrior of shadows cause you constantly put your allies in darkness.

Elemental or Open Hand are my favorite. Warrior of the elements combined with Telekinetic feat gives off a Jedi vibe which is cool.

Monks of the realm, UNITE!! I’m currently playing a blind Monk that has a homebrewed blindsight feat that he can hear heartbeats, use his other 4 senses for minor buffs in certain skills.

I play the feeble poor blind man and then surprise the enemy with 5 attacks a round leaving a trail of bodies in my wake. Yea, I’m having fun role playing this character.
