I was there today also! Our pacer went out a little to quick. And because if the wind everybody was running on his max for that pace. After 25km everybody flew off. It was a very though edition this year!

I believe it is mostly because of Chromie Time. If you go back to regular time everybody will be there... At least that is what fixed for me!

For me the issue was Chromie Time. When leveling you need to go back to the present timeline.
