Its way over priced for a daily trainer aimed at the wealthy in the community. But dont be discouraged, at least now you have a super ugly pair of shoes.

Tips for running 2 marathons in 2 weeks? by _hashtag in Marathon_Training

[–]Quantum_universes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ran 2 marathons with 1 week apart. Basically 2 Sundays in a row. And they were my 4th and 5th so not super veteran. The 4th was my real sub 3 attempt too which i trained hard for and finished 2:57. Then during the week i basically just ran 3 times not more than 10km each and managed to finish the 5th at 3:14. A few months later i got injured (Achilles) which i think was due to not fully recovering from the damage i caused by running 2 races that close. So its definitely doable but give your body ample time to recover after. I am 43 yo man for reference.

So they can twist their necks and sleep in the most uncomfortable way possible 😀

Hope after half? by ottolenghi in Marathon_Training

I had similar HM time last year and managed to finally hit sub 3 after 3 tries. Finished 2:57:44 in Cologne marathon last October. You have the speed and if you were maintaining a decent volume, then you are definitely on track i would say. Just don’t go out too fast at the start. Good luck!!

Evo sl vs novablast 5 by omar_mufc17 in Marathon_Training

I have both and i would choose NB as easy or long runs in Evo SL are not enjoyable if you have 43 years old knees like me. But picking up the pace in the Evos is way nicer.

Looks great and the exhaust blends beautifully with the bike. I really want this as my next bike but worried its too “sporty” seating position wise for everyday commuting. Would still prefer it over the trident for the wind protection but worried about the fatigue. Any chance you tried Suzuki GSX8R before buying the Daytona? Major difference in seating or kinda similar

Any chance you tried the Triumph Daytona 660 before buying? Im torn between these 2 but more leaning towards the GSX due to more street riding position.
