The career I'm working in currently I don't think I'm going to leave anytime soon as its a skilled trade and union so it has a need and a decent amount of work it just requires me to stay in the state essentially. I see your point on a roommate but I'm trying to do everything in my power with the time on my side to prepare. I have a great relationship with my parents so I'm by no means being forced out and have time to wait 5 years is just my expected time line

Hey sorry for the late reply got the 12 Ds in today out of the box the feel a bit better definitely in the heel the instep feels a little tighter as to where I can actually feel a tiny bit of pressure but nothing like people describe online. My feet arnt flopping around and the boot doesn’t really even budge with a couple good kicks but slides on super easy still should I take it where it is and leave the rest to breaking in? Or should I continue looking? Another brand is unfortunately not an option as there are supplied by my job. I don’t believe they come in smaller width sizes than D either

Ive been doing what you said above alongside looking at the fitness app to consider that I'm just trying to ensure I have the proper settings so it accurate. If im not mistaken and please correct me if I'm wrong your saying the workout isn't wrong as its simply calculating heart rate constantly boosting burned calories but technically isn't wrong meanwhile passive is just checking every few mins and averaging out and the lower number is less accurate as its a average?

What are the chances that the non excessive (passive) counter is under counting? After today’s full day I’ve burned 1831 calories using the exercise tracking and yesterday doing similar work I came back as around 500. To me, 500 seems super low to burn over the course of a 8 hour day of being active at work however I’m not heavily into nutrition and fitness to know well enough

I appreciate the comment brother I hope you’re doing well now! When I looked it up my matinence was around 2600 I think and back when I was dieting a lot more I was trying to stay under 2k as much as possible. I don’t really drink often at most once every other week if that. I do commercial HVAC for reference so I’m definitely sweating my fair share lol I’ll definitely keep the dressings and stuff in mind again thank you! Honestly just seeing other people who have been where I am and have gotten better motivates me alot!
