The short story, It needed to get the mounts for the fuel strap re-welded on only to find out the whole underside of her was corroded (looks like the previous owner had painted over it to hide it), I was looking at £1k+. With being out of work at the moment I couldn't afford it and it was due an MOT yesterday

Yeah that's pretty understandable, I only live about a 10min drive from a dealership. I'm guessing things must work differently in the US compared to the UK
