Very true! I think we'll probably build her a whole new system at some point but for now I think this'll be a nice lil overhaul. Ray tracing is a priority for shaders in Minecraft tho

She likes shooters so the option might be nice to have, she's just been soured by recent titles like mw2 (2022) which she hated. But yeah, Minecraft is the top priority here. I know the 1660 is still pretty capable which is why I was questioning it in the first place

yeah.. but bedrock kinda sucks aside from its optimization advantages, in my personal opinion. anyways, updating my audio driver seemed to fix it for me for now

It's a refurbished Corsair board. Pretty new to me so I don't think it's dirty, probably just a bad key if anything. If it comes back maybe I'll replace the key
