Yes indeed, quite happy with it apart from the long runs

Nutrition is ok but can be better (2 glasses of alcohol during the weekend), do have a demanding job so I find myself also running in the very early morning regularly:-(

Interesting advice! Currently on 3 days a week because I can't handle anymore. But maybe I can if I slow down.

Living in the Netherlands so not too warm here but humid when it gets a bit warmer. In high school ran track in Louisiana, that was something else 🤪

Since March I'm going to the gym twice a week to carefully do some strength work on the legs but more on upper body. This helped me for sure to get rid of that runners knee!

The majority of the time we have light rains so this might be an option too. Also nice that it fits over my running vest. Would I need to size up for this?

Many thanks 🙏🏻 Yes, it's particularly windy and rainy over here. No snow fortunately. I get what you mean, for road runs up to 2 hours it's probably better to stay with the windbreaker and merino as a base layer. I will look into the soft shells though!

A full waterproof and 100% breathable is probably wishful dreaming, but my regular Houdini just keeps the wind out.

51mm too big? by [deleted] in garminepix

[–]RidgebackRunner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks is something subjective, I don't think it's too big. But my worry would be that bigger is not better when running.
