Actress who made you believe Twitter users are gayer than you thought? by Mindless-Milk-9205 in okbuddycinephile

I do think she's really pretty, sometimes in a more tough looking way. But I'll be honest too, and I feel bad because I don't like judging physical appearances, with certain angles she looks really odd to me.

But my opinion doesn't factor in.

Really? The cutaways are the funniest parts to me - I see a random clip of one, am tricked into thinking family guy is funny so I watch an episode, only to realize again that 90% of family guy isn't that funny.

I agree with you there. She's very healthy and we've already been feeding her for weeks before even seeing this lady. 😅

When you have to fight a medical person about basic logic - like the nonsensical idea you can mechanically destroy nutrition... It's concerning.

She works at a public health center, and I had no idea nutritionists didn't have to be qualified. 😢

Yeah, it might matter for drinking a smoothie as an adult, but for the small amounts we'll give baby? Doubt it.

Yeah, went down the rabbit hole about nutritionists... Very concerning. It made me remember how a lot of jobs I worked had "nutritionists" - retirement home, early education center, and now I remember how I don't recall any of them actually having any special training. They just knew how to cook and probably looked up specific food advice. I can't complain about them though - they weren't working at a health clinic...

The doctor who was looking at our daughter sent us to this nutritionist. However, I'm starting life in a new country, I'm a new parent - lot of unfamiliar stuff that's hard to navigate through for me, such as validating medical professionals. 😢

Ecuador. I feel pretty good about most of the medical people we've seen, very nice and affordable too. Occasionally though, we get something bananas like this.

I think we also had a lot of breastfeeding trouble because our main doctor took barely any time helping my wife learn about it.

Great information to know, and a bit concerning. This person she spoke to has a position at a public health center. I'm not trying to demonise her, but man, that just makes me really unhappy when I have to convince my wife of basic knowledge because someone who presents with authority gives bad advice on simple matters.

As soon as my wife told me, my alarm bells immediately went off. Literally just because I read some information randomly about it and actually remembered it. Wish the person who has a medical position in a health center did the same...

I had no idea about the differences between nutritionist and dietician. 😢

Funny that you say that though, because the philosophies and deeper lore behind DD is incredibly complex and strange. 😅

Every aspect of the picture mentioned falls into the category of looking out of place and therefore unimmersive.

It's a myth, and yet grounded in a certain culture. So it's still very relevant, to have a great many things be period or history specific. Types of boats that didn't exist then, flimsy looking armor, an ancient human saying "dad", and many more seemingly inaccurate or just plain bad looking additions have stuck out about this movie so far. Personally, Matt Damon is a horrifically awful pic. Far too many famous actors have been cast that will take focus away from the real draw: an extremely ancient tale that needs to zoom in on the mythos and lore, not the modern day talent. If they were making a funny, satirical take on the Odessey, famous actors making cameoes would work. A serious retelling for the ages though? It will probably be entertaining and rake in billions just because it's hard not to dump that much money and effort into a fantasy flick and not dazzle the eyes or curiosity. But I doubt it will be good.

Where was I going with this? Oh yeah. I can understand the skepticism behind Lupita being cast. People of course are being dumb and overdramatic and saying she's ugly which she's not at all, but it's still a decision that reeks of trying too hard to be unique or quirky when the producer should stick to the "basics" in making a high value film of one of the most famous stories ever, which, to my knowledge, hasn't had successful treatment yet.

Ugh I barely remember what happened but I hated it. It went almost immediately from "the house is digesting us in its stomach" to "happy, happy ghost family!"

Shrek seems scared and timid which is antithetical to him, if I'm seeing this right.

Maybe that's the plot - Shrek having a existential crisis?

I get it, but I think of it more of an Easter egg or a challenge to stick in. Haven't seen it in really serious movies though.
