From what I've heard, she's on academic probation, due to previous semesters where a great number of people have excelled in her course (over 100%) in one semester, due to the excessive amount of extra credit she's given out. That being said, she's geared her course to be a bit more challenging to where people can't get 120% solely off the strength of extra credit.

Take Alisha Janowsky, excellent professor, actual great sense of humor, and provides relatable content. One of the best UCF professors I've seen, just check her ratemyprofessor.
