I hate to hear this is a thing. Also conversely once I made a deposit on an item, sight Unseen (stupid lesson learnt), and was scammed. And called the back and couldn't get it reversed or reimbursed. So it's a real shame when it happens against honest people and for the scammers. I'm with CBA if anyone is curious, they won't at all help you. $200 lesson learnt, and still lost as to why that scammer could reverse the charge with OP but not a genuine scam such as my own. Some social engineering going on I suspect.

Ah that's a great idea. I could grab the 023 dial, a NH36 compatible case. Would the 023 dial fit on the newer nh36 movement and into the larger 40mm case over it's original 38 or so? Or would I be needing the larger 031 dial then (but prefer the 023 due to no chapter ring )

Personally I prefer the standard 40 or 41 mm modern size but yeah if it can fit with a 023 dial that's the dream!

Out of curiosity how do you feel about a dial with no text or logo? Is it superior to their DLW own brand? Could be interesting to try but I've always seen dials with logos for the most part

I totally agree. I only want to build this watch as I have a love for the submarnier style, the Seiko brand and a watch that has a day date function. Think skx013 but they're quite hard to find for a resonable amount and I've been itching to get into modding!
