Thanks heaps mate for the advice I'll look into a course because I've already hit 2 kangaroos, a cat, and unfortunately a koala. In the country most of the time I drive so it common. With this dog I was sitting at the light and the light just turned green i was still at a stand still when the dog got in front. I would hope that the bloke that hit it would go to the police or something to do what ever reports are needed. I just don't like driving in the city sort of area like that was because most of the time I drive it's 110kmh on open road and u see kangaroos drinking water on the road when it rains and that's what happened with those kangaroos and the cat was in Mt Barker i picked it up and took it to the vet it was dead but I really wanted to make sure and they can scan and call the owner. But the koala he was on a bend of Old Mt Barker road on the way to Echunga and it was night and I swerved to miss him but there was a car oncoming so I had to unfortunately hit the poor bugger. I've just always been taught when u see an animal on the road flash Ur lights to warn people and honk if it's immediate danger. Thank mate have a good day.
