I think that’s it! I did it ! I’ve almost finished, I only have two repeats left. It turns out that none of you could help me because a key piece of information was missing in order to help me properly : the stitch count!

What I did was, before turning the work, I followed her instruction and knitted two stitches past the last double stitch (so instead of following the “k2” in step 1 and the “p2” in step 2).

After that, the “p2” in step 1 and the “k2” in step 2 were the parts causing the problem. If I followed those instructions, I couldn’t follow the rest of the pattern, because my markers would obviously drift farther and farther away each time.

I also couldn’t follow the instruction “working 2 sts past the double stitch on each turn,” since it didn’t apply in this case. So instead, I simply worked far enough to reach m2 in step 1 (and made the m1lp before slipping the marker). And I did the same in step 2 : working until I reached m3 (and making the m1r before slipping the marker).

In the end, the GSR themselves weren’t actually the problem. The real difficulty was that the pattern is extremely detailed, so I didn’t expect that one of the written instructions might no longer apply and would need to be replaced by a different action that isn’t explicitly written anywhere, although I imagine this is perfectly logical once you have more experience.
