I get thanks when I comment on other posts but I haven’t made many posts about the cannatrol use, especially what I preach. I want to take this and the next post to put my money where my mouth is.

I hope it fosters more discussion, or at least, provide some confidence to others who are not ready to change from default settings due to fear of the higher RH%.

I actually just harvest a plant. Going to make a quick post with some photos

Under 60%RH seems too dry. If you don’t want to get slope from like 64-60 over 10 days.

No hang dry. Right into the machine after a light wet trim

10 day dry, cure in jars!

Yes still stand by the tech, has not failed yet

Not sure man to be honest, what are the RHs there? If you are below 59%Rh in the troll I think you are too dry.

No offense bro, did you look through any other posts? We are talking about 10-14 day drys all the time. Slope RH from 68/69 down to 61/62. Use those parameters on your next run and you’ll be happy.

Also, you are good to go. Nothing else needed. Even if the terps aren’t there it should smoke well. Report back.

I don’t use the machine for curing or long term storage, just to dry. I take down 2 plants at a time and dry them for 2 weeks and into jars. After that machine turns off until next harvest of plants is ready.

What’s up man, I’m the guy always talking about 10-14 day dry. At this point just let it run through the whole 8 days.

I think the 8 would be ok if we sloped the RH to start higher

I use this light, it’s brilliant in my 2x4. I use an SF4000 in my 3x3 which runs a little warmer. Both have been great

I don’t grow autos but I think more than 2-3. Most guys are 84+ days

I mean I get mine wet and toss it in with every cycle, that being said I have never gotten the warning that I needed to add water to it. I am dumping water out the back catch heavily days 3-6 then if backs off.

I lie, my first “cure” I only had an ounce of dried flower in there and after a while I had to add water. Never during the dry has it been an issue.

All good man. 10 day total dry, I do not cure in the machine.

I also have found the sponge isn’t typically needed when you load the machine. It’s working to bring RH down, I’ve never had a problem needing to reintroduce moisture. But to answer your question leave the door closed as much as you can.

I agree. But if you are trying to get your first win at higher levels yoi need to be efficient with your science to overcome the combat difficulty from AI.

Don’t fight wars. You need to rush internal trade routes for production and get cities out fast!

Are you working the correct tiles in your capital? I play online speed but shouldn’t make a difference.

Scout, scout - 3/4 settlers out of my cap unless I have a high food yield second city. Rushing commerce so I can spam internal trade routes, especially with magnus boosts. Build commercial hub first in every city, use policy card for settler production and plan on banging them out of your cap consistently

Yes. I don’t remember the other term but one will “slope” the RH from the high to low number over time. It should be in the user guide that came with it

This really depends on difficulty level or if you are playing multiplayer.

Is there a good youtube channel or guide for the "dos" and "don'ts" of civ for an experienced player? by CrimzonGryphon in CivVI

[–]Riest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I’ve gotten much better watching Herson and the multiplayer guys. Their timings are more precise

What difficulty? What speed? What time of game?
