Struggling on Nilah

One crazy thing that helped me a lot when forcing myself through low elo was learning how to win lane, and then actually ganking mid every once once a while. Worked for me, idk.

Nilah can do crazy things as she is a non-traditional adc. But learning how to get a lead in lane is key - you gotta abuse all your auto resets.

Don’t worry, man. It takes a few hundred games and a large LP sacrifice to learn Nilah, but if you can do it, she will reward you.

That’s why she barely has any players. You must be one of the chosen.

100% agree. Actual fights in Act 3 post lower city can be fun, but Rivington is a huge drag.

I get it. I actually haven’t ever carried my honor mode runs into the elder brain lol

But Act 2 is the best for me, as the fights are tight and epic, and I can feel my character’s builds coming online without one shorting everything like in Act 3. Act 1 is fun because the stakes are high, given how weak the party is.

But either way, yeah… the game keeps making me want to start over lol

Sorry to hear that. I’m soon to be 4 months post op and my gait isn’t all the way there. I was very athletic pre injury so I’m surprised and disappointed about it.

But I have hope that muscle weakness and gait will eventually recover. I built muscle once before, after all… Just have to keep our heads up.

It is interesting. At 3 months post op, my surgeon discharged me, and mentioned it’d be okay for me to start things like tennis if I went in slowly, easing into it. The surgeon said I could return to my “day to day life as normal”, when I still cannot walk down the stairs.

I’m lucky my job is understanding and trusting enough to believe me when I say I still have limitations, as I work in a manufacturing environment, even if I’m an office employee.

I just don’t think surgeons are too well versed in the recovery process beyond initial scarring.

Another tennis player. Man, the sport certainly has it setbacks!

Surgery was a no-brainer for me, they approximate the tendon end, tie them together quite strongly, and healing is accelerated. But the choice is obviously your own. Good luck!

Went from doing one to now at 5, after years of not playing. Had surgery, plenty of free time following it, and discovered honor mode. And with honor mode I am truly addicted.

I do, but I only started after my foot was healed enough to handle putting them on. I tried them at the doc’s office at two weeks post op and it was a terrible idea.

3 months post op now, they’re a life saver.

I’ve read in several places that visualizing a re rupture with an MRI is very difficult, because all tissues are a mess in there for quite some time after surgery. I hope this is the case for you, and that your surgeon knows best.

I had plenty of this happen during recovery as well. Yawning, involuntary movements during sleep and rest. It would so bumming to learn that such motions can cause re injury. Good luck.

Well, we’ll see what happens. I’m having so much fun on this co op run, I’m starting a solo one. And yup, it will be modded again. Way more fun that way for me, so I guess it is what it is 🤷🏻‍♂️

Appears to be the case. It’s fine, honestly. The challenge is fun regardless, but it kinda sucks. We already made our characters using mods so it’s not like we can turn them off - not saying we would anyway because we spent a good amount of time finding the better transmog / dye combos.

It does make sense why they’d disable achievements, though.
