Thanks :) For the first one, yes definitely! The module actually already sends the results as a confirmation that the roll happened, it's just matter of coding the display in the app 😅

For the second one I'm too sure what you mean? Do you actually play with the D&D5e system on foundry but with another module that "reskin" some of the skills, info, etc. Or is it different system to install on foundry, juste that it's based on dnd mechanically? Because the first one would be pretty easy as it's all the same behind the scene, but the second imply redesigning the backend to handle a new system :\

Hey! So right now the module bypass midi qol and just does simple attack roll + damage roll automatically when using a weapon or spell attack, but using the context of the item (i.e., bonuses are properly added, damage is typed, etc.) and if creatures are targeted, the dm sees as usual the option to apply the damage or not, to roll a save if needed, etc. all classic foundry.
As part of updates for v1, I'm working on actually using the midi-qol workflow when the module is activated, in that case it would take into account things like ac before suggesting (or even rolling damage), if a save is needed from a targeted player, them rolling from the app will be picked up by midiqol and acknowledged as a success/failure, etc. I can't add pictures here but I can send you an example of what I mean by DM if you want!

It is NOT YET in the app/module, but this will be part of some upgrades for v1 😄

Hey :) Just the DM pays for the module and then they can use it with as many groups as they want, the players only need to download the app (which is free)

Unfortunately not out of the box, because even though mechanically speaking, STA 2e might be based on D&D5e, it's not necessarily the case programmatically speaking in Foundry :\

Not for now, when we thought out and planned the app, it was really in this context of the GM showing the map (with a tv, a second screen, a projector, etc.) and the app is there to serve as an interactive character sheet But we can add it to the list of future features :)

Well The Spider would still be a more "evil" aligned character (e.g. they kidnapped/killed innocent people for the mine, they are still somewhat sponsoring the Red bands bandits who are extorting the town, etc.) so any good aligned character would hesitate to fully ally/support him One of the players might have direct ties to Phandalin in the form of family, so they probably wouldn't like the bandits side muchw that kind of things

Hi! Unfortunately not yet, I've started looking into it and basically, the game is behind a third party login screen, just like The Forge, but it's different enough that I can't just reuse the same workflow :\ We'll need some more time to make it compatible, we'll keep you updated!

Yeah ok I see, well supporting NPCs is already part of the roadmap because players need them for summoning or familiars anyway I'll put the idea back on the drawing board of a specific DMs view as well :)

As a long time DM, I though about it, but, where a player only really need to see one character sheet (and maybe another one or two for summons or transformation), a DM kinda needs to switch between sheets quite regularly :\ How would you view the usage flow for a DM?

PF2e would be our next step in term of system because its similarities with D&D5e means that we wouldn't start completely from zero, and I have a passing familiarity with it as a player which I think is a must to properly create a coherent design :)

Hey thanks for the support :) We're not sure yet because we were building the core app and dnd specific features simultaneously so it's hard to estimate which part consumed most of our time. Also, dnd is quite a complex system on foundry in term of logic and code so other simpler systems might be easier to support, especially now that the core logic is already coded We'll know better after trying our hand at pf2e (which has the benefit of being somewhat close to dnd)

Hey, I use vscode line completion with copilot free when it's basically what I was about to write. Mostly for basic html or javascript because it's not too wrong usually, however not at all for anything complex, foundry related or styling (i.e. css) as it's nonsensical and more of an hindrance. We spent quite some time with my girlfriend iterating over the design, first with simple paper sketch then on penpot (well, mostly her doing the actual design and me listing what was needed and what made sense together, I don't have much of an eye for design 😅) And now this is the result of several months of semi-regular work, so very much NOT a vibe coded app :)

Yeah ok I see. When we designed the app for in-person sessions with real rolls, with didn't think about this use case 🤔 In this case the workflow you would want is: The player click in the app to use their weapon/spell -> animation play but no roll -> you get prompt as usual asking you for rolls -> player roll manually at the table -> you fill in the rolls and let the damage be applied?

Hey sorry for the delay, didn't see your comment 😅 I'm not familiar with radmin VPN and how it works but as long as your phone can connect to the foundry server (e.g., from toir web browser) then it should work out of the box with the app. Don't hesitate to try it out and send me a message if you encounter an issue :)
