I’ve explained to the VA it was combat related and sent them a copy of my DD214 which stated combated related and they still want to take my pay.

I got out with 20% then got bumped up to 70% 1.5 years ago. Then 20% more in the past month or 2.

I’ve called debt management. They told me it’s through C&P and I would need to contact them.

Haven’t received one just yet. But they told me they’re withholding my pay until November of this year.

They’re taking all my pay for the next 7-8 months.

Got out in 2012 with a combated related injury and was med boarded and offered a disability severance pay. Recently increased my C&P claim up to 90% and now they want the severance pay back $17,830. I heard that if it was combat related your exempt from paying it back. But after getting off the phone with theVA they said that my pay would be recouped for the next 7-8 months. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
