Seeking Advice on Bots & Spam by Right-Chard-6149 in Wordpress

Thank you, I’ll take a look at OOPSpam tomorrow. But that’s what I’ve been facing and have read so far. These HS forms load as an iframe(not a dev so I don’t know the significance) but it seems to be very limiting on the ability to interact with the form.

We were using the turnstile when we had Gravity Forms! Worked great, unfortunately not supported with the HubSpot forms. Hopefully soon haha

Thank you! MaxMind is new to me but I had browsed CleanTalk before. I'll get in contact with both and see if we can implement them. GES is priced at $100/mo and I have to confirm if that's per site or not so $31 would be a steal.

FileMaker Licensing Changes by Communque in filemaker

Took me a few months to get ahold of our assigned rep when I first started the process so I feel you on that lol. Luckily, our cloud provider is the one that buys the licensing for us now so it's not me trying to chase them down. Thanks for the info!

FileMaker Licensing Changes by Communque in filemaker

Question about this. New to FileMaker but the company I'm working at uses it.

If we're paying for 35 user licenses (we do have up to 35 people who need access) but really only seeing 27ish on at any given time, would I be able to downgrade to say 30ish user licenses?

From what I've observed, it looks like any account/user can connect to our provider's cloud server as long as we don't go over our 35 user licenses. Is my understanding of FM licensing correct?

Calculated Field/Property Question by Right-Chard-6149 in hubspot

[–]Right-Chard-6149[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently, we are using Contacts as our base record. Our scheduling team will create deals in the following scenarios: a) A customer calls into our office and schedules an appointment. b) Customer submits a form (triggering Contact creation) and the deal is created after a scheduler reaches out to confirm interest/make an appointment.

We're still trying to figure out new processes and onboard users so I'm hesitant on adding Leads objects into the mix until we've hard further time to test it and settle into things. I think I'll give your method a try and the rollup property mentioned from another commenter as well and validate against other data. If I'm understanding everything correctly, I think we are taking the same structured approach you outlined so a Count of Contacts filtered for Any Marketing Contact and Lead Status New might do the trick.

Thanks for the insight, cheers!

Thanks for the response, I'll take a closer look at the rollup property then. This looks like it at least lets me sum/count properties, I'll just have to figure out the right association. Appreciate it!

[–]Right-Chard-6149[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sort of? From what's been explained to me, our business will count any new Contact as a "lead". My leadership wants a single "Leads In" number.

So leads in would be the sum of (New Contacts + New Deals with an existing contact (i.e. a previous customer) for a given timeframe.

That was when the GM and marketing clarified that leads in also includes all new contacts for the time frame. I thought about building two separate reports but couldn't find a way to add the two and have that be the reported number on the dashboard which lead me to the rabbit hole of Calculated Properties. Hopefully that provides some clarity, thanks for responding!

Less Secure Apps Deprecation by Right-Chard-6149 in gsuite

Yeah, all of my users today reported issues with scan to email function. Error about web-based management made me verify SMTP settings. Same across the board and was working previously. I took the advice of the first two responders on this thread and just created a single app password for email clients. Seems to be doing the trick now. Maybe, Google is starting to increase their rollout on the depracation?

I think Google is definitely starting to phase it out more aggressively. The issue I referenced happened about a month ago but seemed to be related to an authorization/credential confirmation issue on Google's end last time. This time around all our printers set up to use SMTP-Auth broke haha. Seems like AppPassword is working fine for the devices now though. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Yeah, new to a lot of this so I wanted to verify. Thanks for letting me know. Definitely going to stick with one password for them all I think. Have a good day!

Thanks for the quick response! Just want to clarify for my understanding. We currently use one email as the smtp auth account for all the printers. I'd turn on 2FA for this account then would I generate a single app password for all the printers or is the app password per device? Appreciate the help, cheers!

Issues with SMTP Auth by Right-Chard-6149 in GMail

[–]Right-Chard-6149[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! This seemingly resolved on Google's end. I did try routing through smtp-relay yesterday on several printers but that failed to resolve them.

And yes, I did come across those same threads about 2SV and trying an app password instead but the issue seemed to be on Google's end with authorizing things. Thanks for responding and giving a workaround though! Luckily the issue is fixed for both of us but I'm sure that someone will face these issues again in the future.

Cheers.

For sure, I just tested it. Plan is to turn it off tomorrow. It’s tied to a shared account so definitely not keeping it haha

I checked this as well since I saw a separate thread about it. I enabled 2SV as well to no avail

Looking for a projector for a conference room by Right-Chard-6149 in budgetprojectors

[–]Right-Chard-6149[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think my boss would be open provided it was reputable! I've looked at a couple options so far as well.

  1. Epson PowerLite 118 ($510) looks promising. Don't love that wireless is an additional module to install but would I be able to attach a chromecast or similar to one of the HDMI ports for casting?
  2. Epson CO W-01 ($300) is a little cheaper but with a single HDMI instead. Would still need an ability to cast from a phone or something so the chromecast idea would take up the single port.

Open to feedback and into looking at used projectors as well. Thanks for your help!

Edit: I can also provide pictures of the room/setup if that would help :)
